The Provencal markets represent a lot for the region and it seems inconceivable to spend holidays in the Verdon without having seen many. True pride for all the inhabitants of the area, they are also a symbol of the Provençal art of living and all have for common points to offer moments of sharing and fraternity as to encourage meetings between people from all walks of life. They are simply markets of tradition, essential, inimitable and who know how to reinvent themselves once the summer comes to satisfy the tourists in addition to the usual customers. Among the specialties to discover as quickly as possible are a selection of wines, mainly rosés, Cavaillon melons, famous throughout France, a wide choice of candied fruit from Apt, as well as garlic and tomatoes, all from the region and being of a quality that is no longer to prove.
